The PTA AGM Monday 8th October 7pm for 7:30m start
As you are probably aware, the PTA runs as a charity and we have to follow certain rules. Part of those rules is that we have an AGM so everyone knows what we are doing with all the money we work hard to raise.
But perhaps more importantly than that, it’s a great chance for you to get involved and tell us how you think we should be spending the money, or how we can raise even more money!
It’s also when we appoint certain roles – Chair / Vice Chair / Treasurer / Secretary / School Liaison – so it’s a very important evening.
Even if you’re not interested in any of those specific positions, we always welcome and need ‘general’ committee members – it’s a fantastic way for Year R parents to really feel a part of the school.
This year’s meeting is planned for Monday 8th October and ANYONE can attend whether you are on the PTA or not. I could not overstate the importance of this meeting in setting out what we as a PTA do – remember, every penny we raise goes towards helping your child’s education and learning experience.

Most of our meetings these days are usually at the pub (see, it’s not all work) but the AGM will be held at the school. We’ll see you there.
Snacks and drinks will be provided (non-alcoholic and alcoholic!) from 7pm onwards with the meeting starting at 7:30pm
